At Deloitte, I was instrumental in establishing and leading the IT Strategy and CIO Advisory Services practice, consistently surpassing financial and usability targets for a diverse portfolio of clients across the financial, retail, and airlines industries. 

I developed enterprise architecture as a key offering, leveraging the TOGAF framework to align business and IT strategies effectively. This leadership also involved designing and executing complex IT strategies, leading high-performing consulting teams to assess IT needs, resolve critical issues, and optimize technology for peak performance, ultimately delivering significant cost optimization and process improvements for our clients.

At VeriFone, I designed and deployed a cutting-edge PaaS-based enterprise architecture that accelerated application deployment and significantly reduced system downtime, achieving seamless integration across multiple platforms. 

This initiative led to a remarkable 45% increase in new client acquisition within the first year for the global PaaS platform. I also pioneered the first global back-office systems platform, delivering a configurable and flexible solution for point-of-sale (POS) devices, which dramatically enhanced operational scalability and facilitated market expansion across Mexico, Brazil, and Uruguay.

As the first CIO for Walmart Bank, I established the foundational technology, processes, and teams necessary for a seamless kickoff and operational readiness. I successfully designed and executed the enterprise architecture for the bank, creating a flexible foundation for growth and long-term digital transformation. 

This strategic approach, combined with my leadership in identifying regional strategies, resulted in saving $45M in Walmart Latin America's budget and achieving a 95% on-time and on-budget delivery rate for critical projects, driving significant cost efficiency and accelerating time to market.

I spearheaded the integration of GPT-4 for enhanced customer support and customer scenario planning, significantly advancing our customer interaction capabilities. 

Furthermore, I designed and implemented a GDPR-compliant data warehouse that consolidated all financial and operational information. This provided users with direct access to critical insights through ad-hoc reports and Power BI dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making and improving overall business intelligence.

I led an enterprise-wide IT transformation spanning operations, applications, and strategy, impacting over 40 global locations and managing a $40M budget. A key achievement was implementing TOGAF for enterprise architecture, ensuring full regulatory compliance and seamless business alignment.

This initiative also included a significant 20% reduction in IT operational costs through a strategic cloud migration to a hybrid AWS, Oracle Cloud, and in-house model, alongside a 45% increase in infrastructure efficiency through automation, directly supporting the company's long-term business strategy.
